The Reiwa 6th Abare Festival is a festival held by local residents, people from the area, and their related parties in hopes of recovering from the earthquake, with the aim of preserving traditional culture.
Many people on the Noto Peninsula lost their lives in the recent earthquake, and there are still many areas where demolition has not progressed and remains as it was on January 1st.
Nearby accommodations have not been able to resume accepting general guests, and temporary parking lots cannot be secured. Under such circumstances, we have been preparing to hold the event this year in the Ushitsu area in order to start from an area where we can.
The festival will be held in the midst of the disaster, where the reception system is still insufficient.
We are very keen to come and see it, but this year we ask that you please be patient and refrain from coming to town for sightseeing purposes.
